MEET YOUR MENTOR
Aaron Davison is a Berklee College of Music Alumnus and the founder of How To License Your Music.com. Aaron first started licensing his own music in 2002. Over the years, Aaron has had hundreds of placements on shows and projects including The Young & The Restless, ABC Christmas Promo, The Middle, Mary Poppins, ABC World News Now, The Great Christmas Light Fight, Catch & Release, All My Children, Fox Sports, The US Open, The Herd, MLB Whip Around, Google, America's Pre-Game, Rangers Insider, The BBC, Tesco and many more.
In 2008 Aaron founded the first online education resource about the music licensing industry, How To License Your Music.com. Since then, Aaron has created over a dozen niche courses related to music licensing and has helped thousands of songwriters and composers get started in the business of sync licensing.
In 2017 Aaron launched HTLYM Premium, a new premium site devoted to the niche of music licensing. Since then, Aaron and the contributing members of HTLYM Premium have helped hundreds of artists get their music synced in a wide variety of tv and film projects.
​Aaron is also the host of the popular music business podcast, Music, Money & Life where he interviews leading music industry insiders.
In 2019, Aaron became a session guitarist for Disney/20th Century Fox and has performed on multiple tracks.
